VET Aware Erasmus+ Project Launched in Dublin

The VET Aware – Addiction Awareness and Support System for VET Learners and Apprentices project has officially launched with a transnational kick-off meeting in Dublin. The project is funded under Erasmus+ KA2 Small Scale Partnerships and brings together organisations from Ireland, Italy and Norway.

VET Aware aims to strengthen awareness, inclusion and practical support related to addiction within vocational education and training (VET), with a particular focus on learners and apprentices. During the kick-off meeting, partners aligned on project objectives, implementation planning and approaches to stakeholder engagement.

The partnership includes the National Guild of Master Craftsmen (Ireland) as coordinator, TuFirst Onlus (Italy) and The Aga Way (Norway). As a newcomer organisation to Erasmus+, The Aga Way highlighted the value of transnational cooperation and shared learning within the project.

Over the coming months, the partnership will engage with stakeholders and practitioners to develop and test practical resources that respond to real VET needs. Further updates will be shared as the project progresses.

This project has been funded with support from the European Commission. The views expressed are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Commission.
